A community foundation's governing body approves all grants.

Draft rationale: Approval of grants and not approving grant requests is a core demonstration of the exercise of proper stewardship of the funds placed in its care and responsiveness to community needs in carrying out the foundation’s mission.

Potential Outcomes

Community confidence in the integrity of the grantmaking process is strengthened.
