The Standard

A community foundation is accountable to the community it serves and regularly disseminates information on its programs and finances.

Underlying Rationale

Promotes community awareness of, appreciation for, and trust in the community foundation, provides accessibility to the broad community and insures public accountability by communicating widely and frequently, thereby serving diverse donors and grant-seekers.

Potential Outcomes

Enhances public awareness, trust, and confidence in the community foundation.
