A community foundation ensures that the foundation's financial resources are used solely in furtherance of its mission.

Underlying Rationale

Policies and practices are clearly communicated and implemented about the use of funds which demonstrate to, and insure the community about the exercise of proper stewardship of the funds placed in its care.

Potential Outcomes

Strengthens public confidence in the foundation.
